I have decided to start my own blog about the juggle of being a studying mother of 4, married to a husband who works overseas. My life does require me to be organised and sometimes I carry this off quite well, other times Im a dismal failure- coffee mornings dont make for productive study or housework! I am always searching for a better way to do things, to stay focused and keep up to date with the daily goings on in my life. I love meal planning and tracking all things financial although my filing system leaves a lot to be desired.
My family consists of:
Rusty- wonderful husband and breadwinner who is currently on secondment in another country. He is away 2 weeks, home for 6 days each cycle. He is a very hands on Dad who finds it difficult being away from his children (and his lovely wife of course!).
Rockstar Ri- 8 year old boy, intelligent and kind, loves music, dancing and maths in that order! Has aspirations of becoming a doctor by day, rockstar by night.
Mr Sensitive- highly emotional 5 year old boy who has the face of an angel but enough tears to drown a small nation. Aspires to be like his big brother yet suffers from middle child syndrome. His best friend is a girl named Jadeybird.
Red Devil- a cheeky 3 year old with flaming red hair from a throw back gene in our family. A loner who sticks to himself and has a particular fascination with our recliner chair and a split personality named Bruce.
The Minx- 2 year old baby of the family, only girl and knows the pulling power she has with her father and brothers. Im the only one who doesnt succumb to her charms. Fiesty and stubborn, but overly girly, she is really the best of both worlds. Other children beware!
and last but in no way the least, there is little old me. My friends call me Marns, Im currently studying externally a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and looking after 4 children with no family around! Im actively involved at my chilren's school and social coordinator for a group of mums I will refer on here to as the Purple Ladies.
